Olea sylvestris/Wild Olive bonsai that originates from Majorca, the source of the very best wild Olive. I imported this tree in 2018 (see final image) and carved and styled it in 2019.

This specimen has a heavy trunk and is easily over 100 years or more. The deadwood is a mixture of natural deadwood and machine carving. It is very very dense and hard and will not rot!

Olea sylvestris is easy to look after and fast growing. It is frost resistant but requires a position out of the rain during the winter months here in the UK. Repotting will not be required for another 5-10 years and it is important to do this during the growing season.

This is a substantial tree. The overall height of 24”/61cm.

The tree is planted into an unmarked Chinese ceramic pot 12”/30cm in diameter.

This is a very reluctant sale but unfortunately I have run out of room in my garden and need to clear some space. 

It has featured a number of times on social media over the years, as well as Bonsai Focus magazine but has yet to be displayed at a show.

It can be collected from HP21 7HA or it can be driven halfway.
