Crataegus monogyna / Common Hawthorn Yamadori bonsai collected by myself in early Spring 2019. The tree is very strong and has grown well in the 6 years since collection. It has been allowed to grow freely each year before being cut back hard each Autumn.

This is a very unique opportunity to buy a totally raw piece of material collected by myself from 'The Hill'. There is only one other tree like this still available.

It is important to note that one of the three trunks has died. However, the wood of the third trunk is very strong and as it grows sinuously throw the other two trunks, I have so far elected to keep it.

I believe this is not one tree but 3 separate trees that have grown and grafted together.

The hawthorn was cut back hard a few weeks ago ahead of taking these images. Features very natural deadwood and live veins.

A very strong tree that is ready for styling and further development. The tree has great potential for the future.

This is a big tree! If you are able to collect it in person from me (HP21 7HA) I can offer a discount. It may also be possible to offer courier delivery within a 70 mile radius of my postcode.

As with all bonsai and raw material available on the bonsai4me.com/shop, this tree has been treated with Danu from ProBio Carbon to encourage disease resistance and bushier, better distributed growth habit.

Planted in a 21"/53cm diameter plastic pot.
