Acer palmatum/ Japanese Maple atropurpureum bonsai (red leaf) with red summer leaves. Grown from seed by the previous owner over many years (decades), the tree has a good age demonstrated by the maturing bark.

Height reduced slightly during winter 2023.

Good tight ramification, no wire marks and short internodes. The tree can be wired to get the best out of the tree. I am expecting that all of these trees will grow substantially this year having been given fresh soil to grow into.
